To supplement School-based support, we provide generic courses designed for all tutors and demonstrators across the University.

Check first whether your School provides its own courses. These will be tailored to your roles and responsibilities, and therefore take priority.

About our courses

Our courses are designed for and open to current tutors and demonstrators teaching at the University of Edinburgh or those about to take up a teaching role.
There are no course fees.
All our courses will be most valuable if you have already started in your specific teaching role.
Some of our courses are only suitable for more experienced tutors and demonstrators.
