| Description | Edinburgh Global - the Univeristy's commitment to internationalisation in research, teaching and public service remains at the heart of our mission. For leaders of postgraduate taught programmes, working with an international ethos and global connections can reap direct rewards for recruitment, student experience and curriculum development. The over-arching purpose of Edinburgh Global is to embed internationalisation across the University through: building high-quality research and teaching partnerships; enhancing international student and staff recruitment; engaging with alumni from around the world and supporting our international students during their time at Edinburgh. Strategic collaborations with world-class universities can provide a multicultural experience for both students and staff. Partnerships, whether institution wide, school led or researcher-to-researcher should be driven by shared academic interest and focused on generating sustainable outcomes that build on the synergies between the partners. This session will provide an update on progress with Edinburgh Global and an opportunity to explore the potential international dimensions postgraduate taught programmes.
