The Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice programme is in three main parts.
A two day orientation introduces you to key aspects of teaching, learning and assessment within the University of Edinburgh context.
A core course (20 credits) which considers the various factors that influence your approach to teaching within a given subject area. The course is run once a year.

A range of optional courses (10 credits each) enable you to more systematically explore aspects of academic practice which are most relevant and worthwhile to you personally and professionally.
