Making the Most of Masters
Making the Most of Masters aims to improve collaboration between employers and universities by providing opportunities for masters students to undertake work based projects. These are adaptable across all disciplines and key economic areas in Scotland.
Funded by the Scottish Funding Council, as part of the Learning to Work 2 initiative (LTW2). It is a partnership project between the universities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Stirling.

A key aspect of this work is engagement with employers, and the building of connections between university masters programmes and external employers.
Key benefits will include:
- improving the employability of participants
- improve relationships between employers and universities
- facilitating the transfer of knowledge and expertise from the universities out into the local community
- responding to the feedback from students on the desirability of work-based projects
- allow the development of models of masters dissertations
