Minitab is a good for scientific data, design of experiments and a range of statistical methods.
R is an open source stats and graphics environment with a substantial community contributing to it.
SAS is heavily used by financial sector, decribed as anintegrated suite of software for enterprise-wide information delivery.

Minimal Support: Little or no support can be guaranteed. These packages are or have been in use at the University and we will try to support within the bounds of knowledge and resources.
