The Scottish Register of Employment is an industrial database, collected using a variety of sources, in order to gather information about Scottish Industry for use by the Scottish Executive. It was discontinued in 1993 as new survey results containing this information became available from the Office of National Statistics (the Annual Census of Production).
A set of industrial time series data for Scotland; specifically numbers of enterprises and employees, split by various standard industrial classifications, for the time period 1950 to 1993.
