Library stores
Overview
There are a number of onsite Library stores to which only Library staff have access. However, much of the material held in our stores is available to members of the library and have records in the Library's online catalogue.
On-site stores exist in a number of the Library sites, housing lesser-used collections.
University of Edinburgh theses are one type of material held in stores.
Access to items in store
The catalogue record for an item held in store will indicate this in the information in the location field or in a note about restricted access.
To find out whether or not, and how, you can access material which is held in a store or which is labelled as restricted loan, please ask Library staff.
