About WebCT now that Learn is live
Learn is now live for University users.
Staff and students can still access their WebCT courses through the link on the Learn main page.
Live data in WebCT
Live data from EUCLID - that is, courses and enrolments - is now being fed directly into Learn.
The WebCT database no longer changes automatically.
All of the 2011-2012 (and older) courses and enrolments currently in WebCT will remain there - if you already have access, nothing will change.
Adding people to WebCT courses
If you want to add colleagues as instructors, or as auditors, to an old WebCT course, you can do so using the Gradebook inside WebCT as usual.
Retaining WebCT Content
Older WebCT content will be available for the 2012-13 Academic Year. After that, because of the age of the software, we cannot guarantee to continue access. If you have material in older courses which has not yet been migrated to Learn or downloaded onto your own computer, you may wish to make a copy of it now.
We will be contacting schools about ensuring copies of less frequently-run courses later in the Autumn.
