How to access PebblePad
How to access PebblePad using a computer or mobile device.
Access from your computer
All students and staff members can log in to PebblePad directly using the link below, or through MyEd using the PebblePad channel.
You can find the channel in the Studies tab (if you are a student) and the Teaching tab (if you are a staff member).
Corporate and support group staff will need to add the PebblePad channel manually as follows:
Mobile access
When you log in for the first time, PebblePad will ask you to create a mobile password. Once you have done so, you can access PebblePad from a range of mobile devices using the following web address: http://www.pebblepad.co.uk/edinburgh/mobile/
You can also use an iPhone app and WindowsMobile.
PebblePad access after graduation
Registering for extended access
If you want to use your PebblePad account after you have left the University you can keep your account for an additional 12 months at no cost, after which you can continue using PebblePad for a small annual fee:
- Log in to PebblePad
- Select Tools
- Click Personal Account to register
Exporting your assets
If you are not interested in using PebblePad after you have left the University, you may still want to archive all your current assets on a USB stick or any other drive. To do so:
- Log in to PebblePad
- Select Tools
- Select Manage Assets
- Scroll down to the Import/Export Assets section and select Export Assets
- Tick the boxes next to the assets you want to archive
- Choose Export as Website towards the top right of the screen before clicking the Export button.
