Workshops
We offer half-day Turnitin workshops for University staff. The workshops provide a thorough introduction to the Turnitin software. Topics covered include: essay submission (by instructors or by students), Class and Assignment creation, Master Classes and Sections, and Originality Reports. Workshops are suitable for adminstrative, support and academic staff.
These workshops offer no guidance on plagiarism prevention. Questions regarding plagiarism prevention and University plagiarism policy are best directed to your College Academic Misconduct Officer.
School or departmental demonstrations
We can arrange Turnitin demo sessions for staff, to be delivered over a lunch-break or other suitable time. The demos take attendees on a comprehensive tour of the software, covering topics similar to those of the Turnitin workshops. Plenty of time is allowed for questions.
