Wireless access for non-staff/student
If you are a visitor to the University of Edinburgh there are two ways you can connect to the University wireless network.
Connecting to eduroam
The JANET Roaming Service (eduroam) enables visitors to the University of Edinburgh to gain access to the Internet using the same username and password as they use at their home institution.
Registration by a member of staff
Anyone who is not a University staff member or student, who is visiting the University for educational or research purposes, and who cannot use the eduroam service, may be registered to use the Wireless service by any member of staff.
