SPSS, now also known as IBM SPSS Statistics, is a software program suitable for most standard analyses including descriptive statistics and exploratory data analysis, correlations, a variety of regression, general linear modelling and multivariate techniques, time series and survival analysis.
A University-wide site license is in place for SPSS which allows participating Schools to install unlimited licenses for the software on University-managed computers as well as enabling Staff and Students in those Schools to install it on both personal and other non-University-managed machines for the duration of their stay.
Please note: Anyone who makes use of SPSS under the University's site license is required to signed and return a copyright agreement form to Software Services. Please see the section on 'Licensing SPSS' for full details.
