The MindGenius application is based around the concept of mind-mapping, which allows the user to capture large amounts of disparate information and gives them the ability to view content from different viewpoints.
MindGenius for Schools
MindGenius 4.0 is available from IS under a negotiated site licence. It can be installed only on university PCs and laptops. A CD media copy can be acquired through Software Services at a cost of £20 a time.

"Free" take home licenses for Mindgenius are now available under our latest deal for current staff and students at the university. Contact is.software.codes or IS help services for login details needed to download copies.
Alternatively, students and teachers can buy personal copies direct from the company education store, using the discount code MGSTUO.

Licensing details
Mindgenius Take Home license is perpetual but limited, the installed software should be deleted from your home machine when you leave the university.
Once the software is downloaded, installed and activated, it will not need to be renewed or reactivated every year.
N.B. The serial and security take home codes are time limited and will expire. If you need to reinstall the software at a later date and previously working codes cease to work, contact is.software.codes or IS help service for new codes.
Personal purchase licenses are perpetual licenses without these restrictions. Licenses are contracted directly with the company, so check the company for further terms and condtions.
