The University has launched a new SELECTprint scheme to make it easier to select, buy or lease, support and maintain a fleet of printer-photocopier-scanner devices (also known as multi-function devices or MFDs).
The scheme offers a range of nine devices (two single-function printers and seven multi-function devices) that should meet the majority of requirements from small office use to large open access computing areas, from A4 mono to A3 colour.

A competitive procurement process from a Scottish government value for money framework agreement was used to identify our new supplier, XEROX.
The installations of the new Xerox devices that replace the out-of-contract Canon and Océ devices was completed at the end of October 2012. We now have almost 400 devices around campus; 50 devices in libraries operating the Cloud Printing service.
