Logging into the Central Unix Timeshare service

How to login to the Central Unix Timeshare service.

Use an SSH program to login holyrood.ed.ac.uk. Your account name is your University Username.

Your account name is your University Username (UUN).

Your password will be supplied to you when you apply for the account.

For example, to login using a command line ssh program if your University Username is uun:

ssh -l uun holyrood.ed.ac.uk
