Unix OS Support
The Information Services Enterprise Services Section provides general consultancy services on Unix and Unix-like operating systems.
Whilst we can answer general questions about many Unix operating systems we only fully support Linux. The main Linux distributions we support are Red Hat Enterprise, Scientific Linux, Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux and CentOS (until summer 2024).

The IS Enterprise Services Section provide support for Red Hat Linux and its derivatives i.e. Rocky, Oracle Linux, CentOS and Scientific Linux.
Getting help with Unix Operating System support
If you are a systems administrator then please contact either your college consultancy team or the Enterprise Services Section (previously Unix Section). End users should contact the Information Services Helpline in the first instance.
