Why should I use MyEd?
There are a number of ways in which you can benefit from using MyEd:
- Pull together a wide range of systems and information into a single place, meaning that you only need to remember one web site address
- MyEd combined with EASE authentication allows you to move securely into a number of different systems without the need to re-enter usernames and passwords
- Customise it to suit your personal preferences, both in terms of content, and how it looks
- Keep up with what's going on within the University and in the world at large using tools like Announcements and News channels
- View information at a glance about things you need to do - for example checking your Library borrowing information or whether you have new email waiting
- Make information like your internet favourites available no matter where you are by using tools such as the Bookmarks channel
- Use the Channel Catalogue to find systems and information, some of which you might otherwise not have known about
- New tools, systems and information services are being added regularly
- You can access MyEd from anywhere in the world
