Records management advice is that you should not use a non-University e-mail account for University business.
To forward your email to another mail service do the following:
Login to the mail service using webmail.
Click on Filters in the toolbar to setup, edit or inspect your mail filters on the server.
You will be presented with a list of any mail filters that you may have activated on your account. If a mail forwarding rule has already been setup for you then you will see a rule called Forward in the list. If you don't have such a rule then to create a forwarding filter rule, click on Forward in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
The screen will change to display the filter rule entry form.
Enter the email address you want your mail to be sent to in the box provided. If you want to keep a copy of any mail received in your account then also make sure the box is checked.
Now press the Save button to activate the mail forwarding.
