Any member of staff here at the university is eligible to book out equipment for short term use.

Service summary

Depending on what the equipment is to be used in connection with, hire charges maybe applicable.
As a general rule if the equipment is to be used in connection with teaching then no hire charges will apply.
While users can collect and return equipment from our workshops, it is possible to arrange for equipment to be delivered and set up.
Please be aware that delivery and set up charges may be incurred.

All staff - researchers, tutors and support staff are entitled to use this service.

Equipment can be booked for a setup or collection between 08:30-17:00 Monday-Friday. Out of hours support may be arranged.

We have service bases at the following locations, however as a general rule, equipment should be collected from our George Square workshop.
