Main Software Deals
This section contains the main software agreements & special deals we adminster for the University. Choose an agreement to see who is eligible and how to get the software.
Below is a list of software products you can request codes/access for. Many of these products renew annually. If your codes have expired please re-request codes for the current year.

Statistical packages

SigmaPlot is available to the university under an annual site licence held by software Services. |
| SPSS | IBM SPSS products are particularly good for surveys, data manipulation and a wide variety of analyses. |

Mathworks TAH agreement for a Matlab site license ends on the 30th August 2023 |

| Mathematica | Mathematica, based on symbolic mathematics, is used in scientific, engineering, mathematical and other areas of technical computing. |

EndNote are used for managing references and bibliographies. |

| NVivo | NVivo is qualitative data analysis software designed for work with very rich text and/or multimedia information. |
| Mindgenius | The MindGenius application is based around the concept of mind-mapping, which allows the user to capture large amounts of disparate information and gives them the ability to view content from different viewpoints. |

| Flowjo | FlowJo™ Software is the leading platform for single-cell flow cytometry analysis that helps you interpret your data quickly and effectively with accessible features for immunophenotyping, cell cycle analysis, proliferation, kinetics studies, quantitative population comparison, high-dimensional analysis and more. |
| RSpace | RSpace (ResearchSpace) is an eLab Notebook (ELN) designed for research groups and labs produced by Scottish company ResearchSpace. |

If we don't have the software you need
From time to time, software services call for interest in collaborating in a software site license or special deal. Use the Software Interest form (secured) for the call for interest or to highlight other software you'd like to a university deal for.
We will consider requests based on several criteria including:
- Number of users/Schools currently using software
- Appeal to other users/Schools
- Whether funding is available
- Whether similar software is currently available.
Before filling out the form, please discuss your requirements with your local IT team and check the main deals to see if a deal already exists.
