Using the VPN
Once registered to use the VPN service you can connect to the service by configuring the built-in VPN client on your device.
Built-in VPN clients
Please select the appropriate configuration instructions below if you are using a device with one of the supported built-in VPN clients.
- Android 4.2 (Jellybean)
- Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
- Apple OS X 10.5 and later
- iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch
- Windows 8
- Windows 7 and XP
Cisco IPSec VPN client
If your device does not have a supported built-in VPN client you may be able to download and install the Cisco IPSec VPN client.
This Cisco IPSec VPN client is a mature technology with very secure encryption for which the University has an unlimited site license.
Please choose the appropriate instructions for your device to download, install and configure the Cisco VPN client.
