The EDINA and Data Library division is made up of a number of functional sections or workgroups.

Manager: Robin Rice
The Data Library supports staff and students in the discovery, access, use and management of research data for analysis, teaching or coursework. It also developed and operates the Edinburgh DataShare repository service.

Manager: Helen Chisholm
EDINA User Support answers enquiries from users of EDINA services. They also deliver training and promotion, design web pages and produce service documentation and reports.

Manager - Research and Geodata: Conor Smyth
Manager - Bibliographic and Multimedia: Christine Rees
The service delivery workgroups develop and deliver a range of online services to the UK Higher and Further Education sectors. They also undertake a number of research projects to inform future service developments and directions.

Manager: Alan Ferguson
The IT infrastructure workgroup looks after EDINA's servers and deals with maintenance, backup, future planning and procurement. It also supplies user support to EDINA staff.
Within this section is another workgroup, Access Management. They provide administrative and technical support to the UK Access Management Federation for Education and Research and provide UK Access Management Expert Group services to the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC).

The Administration workgroup deals with all aspects of administration involved in running EDINA. The Business Development workgroup meets regularly to review and assess new business opportunities for the organisation.
