The Adaptive Learning tool CogBooks was launched on 11th January in the module Global Tectonics and the Rock Cycle.
During the Programme and Course Information Management (PCIM) project, evidence was gathered that indicated that the course information published by the University would benefit from enhancement.
The first phase of a project to allow administration and academic staff to record engagement against a student record has been successfully delivered.
An FAQ pilot system has been successfully delivered focusing on admissions and pre-arrival questions asked by students and applicants. The funding for the project came from the Student Experience initiative. The project was delivered by the Student Systems Partnership.
The underlying database supporting the Electronic Voting and Electoral System (EVES),has been upgraded to a fully supported Microsoft database platform with automatic backups.
