British Sign Language performance poet Richard Carter will make a response to exhibition Interieur No.493, by artist Anton Henning, on Wednesday 19th October.
The colourful installation will provide the inspiration for a lively event full of spontaneity and visual metaphor. The evening will also include Richard Carter performing from his repertoire of poems and taking questions from the audience.
This event is open to everyone and will be interpreted into both English and BSL where appropriate and will be followed by a drinks reception and discussion. It is part of a project to explore how the visual language of BSL and visual art can come together to engage audiences.
