Timetabling - out with the old and in with the new
The Shared Academic Timetabling project has delivered a range of new timetabling solutions for staff and students.
New Web Room Booking (WRB) and Web Timetables applications are now available to all staff and students via the new 'Timetabling at Edinburgh (Staff)' and 'Timetabling at Edinburgh (Student)' channels on MyEd. These applications enable staff to check room availability and make ad-hoc room bookings and also allow students to check availability and book study space on-line.
The new timetabling system will also provide event data to the large monitor screens outside some of the centrally bookable rooms and larger building concourses including the JCMB and Appleton Tower. The roll out of this functionality will be completed in the week beginning 4th June. The project will now enter a new phase of “Extended Implementation” which will provide personal timetables for Students and Staff from August 2013.

The legacy EBIS Room Booking system has now been retired and access has been removed for all end users.
