You may already know that the University is replacing WebCT with a new central virtual learning environment called Learn. This service provides an improved user interface and some useful extra functionality.

We aim to have moved courses on WebCT into Learn by September 2012. Course material from this year 2011-2012 or older which used WebCT will remain on WebCT and be available to students for reference.
Staff have already started to familiarise on the new system and can begin constructing their material for next academic year in readiness for the new service.
From September, if any of your courses use the Learn service you will be able to access them via a new MyEd channel for Learn, similar to the existing channel to WebCT. You don't have to request or prepare anything in advance, your MyEd will automatically give you access to all courses you are enrolled on which use the system. Representatives from EUSA are working with us on the project and particularly with regard to acceptance testing over the coming weeks.
