The Power of British Art & Design Lecture
The Friends of Talbot Rice Gallery's Annual Memorial Lecture for 2012 will see Professor Chris Breward reflect on curating the Victoria & Albert Museum’s major exhibition for the 2012 Olympic Season: British Design 1948-2012: Innovation in the Modern Age.
The lecture will be held on Wednesday 9th May at 6.30pm in Talbot Rice Gallery and will focus on the challenges raised by the project and suggest ways in which the British Art and Design College has been a key influence on how our culture has developed over the past six decades.
The lecture is free and all are welcome.
