Summer building work at Moray House Library
Essential building work will be carried out at Moray House Library this summer, from 31st May to 17th August, to provide a new heating and ventilation system.
The timing of the work has been planned to avoid semester times. During this time we will be working to minimise disruption to readers but it will be impossible to avoid considerable noise and vibration throughout the Library, and therefore readers are recommended to use alternative sites to study.
For most of the time certain sections of the Library will be inaccessible to readers, and Helpdesk staff will fetch books from affected areas. There may be no disabled access for some of this period, so anyone unable to use the steps outside the Library and requiring books from Moray House Library is requested to contact Moray House Library Helpdesk on 0131 651 6193 where alternative arrangements will be made.
