Essential Maintenance on major IS Services
Essential maintenance is required on major IS Services on Tuesday 21st August from 17:00 to 22:00.
Essential downtime is required to allow the replacement of a faulty UPS (Uninterruptable power supply) which supplies the King's Buildings machine room, where many core services are hosted.
The following priority services will be affected:
- Staffmail
- MyEd
- WebCT and Learn
- Central Wiki Service
- HR/Payroll
- E-Financials
- ID Management
- Web and Database Reporting (BOXI)
- EBIS
- PURE
- Jobs
- Polopoly (publishing)
- Event Booking
- Online Student Admin (EUCLID)
- Voyager Library services including Library Catalogue
- Library Website including Exam Papers
- eJournals & ezproxy
The following priority services will NOT be affected:
- Exchange
- Hosted Websites
- Kinetics (excluding channels served via MyEd)
- University Website (Polopoly publishing unavailable)
- UniDesk
- Moodle
- SMS Mail
E-resources can still be accessed by other routes:
