From Thursday 12th July we are launching a service, in partnership with Northumbria University, that will allow us to provide front line IS Helpline support 23 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Operational Services team in Information Services have been looking at how the opening hours of the IS Helpline can be extended. Every day between 9am and 8am the following morning our IS Helpline service will be available to log calls and provide support and assistance.
This extended service, from 12th July, is expected to benefit our user community as a whole, but is specifically important for distance education students who can be working out of hours and in different time zones.
