Information for new students about Freshers' Week and orientation upon arrival at the University.

Freshers' Week is the week before classes start where you get the opportunity to introduce yourself to life as a student at the University.
This is when you officially enrol at the University and can attend information sessions, orientation events and a range of activities organised by Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA), designed to help you settle in and gain access to services.
All Information new students will need including:

Freshers' Week 2012 runs from Saturday 8th to Sunday 16th September. Official University orientation events take place from Monday 10th to Friday 14th September.
All schools will hold introductory meetings where you will find out who your Personal Tutor is and other important information, including things you will need to do during Freshers' Week.

Introductory meetings for PGDE students will be held at Moray House School of Education - details will be in your joining pack.
You can check which school you belong to using the following document. Students enrolled on the BA Humanities and Social Science belong to the school of their principal lead subject.
Please go to the College Undergraduate Admissions Office (2nd floor, David Hume Tower, George Square) on arrival with proof of identity and we will issue a replacement.
