Essential tasks for new students

As a new student there will be a number of things you need to do before and on arrival at the University.

  1. Attend the Introductory Meeting for the school your degree programme in located in. More information on this will be provided in your joining pack. Check which school your degree programme is in and then see our timetable of introductory meetings for 2011:
  1. Meet with your Director of Studies and/or Student Support Officer.
  2. Register your attendance at the University, make arrangements for the payment of fees if applicable, and collect your student ID card.
  1. Before you arrive, check the preliminary reading list for suggested reading to prepare yourself for starting your studies.
