Guidance documents download
We provide guidance documents about the range of procedures involved in undergraduate direction of studies.
Guidance documents are available for staff and students covering topics such as
- roles and responsibilities of staff members in posts such as Student Support Officer, Personal Tutors, Directors of Undergraduate Studies etc
- matriculation and course enrolment
- progression, assessment, academic appeals and special circumstances
- changes to curricula (including individual subject combinations and degree transfers)
- absence, interruption of study and withdrawal from studies
- pastoral concerns (including crisis/hardship funds and student counselling service)
Guidance documents
This guidance also includes information on the procedure by which students can request to suspend or repeat their honours studies (see Appendix 1).
Guidance is also available on the provision of academic mentoring and support by Personal Tutors, Programme Directors and equivalent advisors:
