Curriculum approval

The College has procedures for approving new undergraduate programmes and changes to existing curricula.

Schools must seek approval for any new programme and for significant changes in existing curricula. This includes revisions to course content, teaching methodology or the means of assessment. Approval is also required to remove existing courses.

Depending on the specific type of change, different levels of authorisation are required. Minor modifications would require approval by the School Board of Studies. More substantial revisions would require sign-off by the College Undergraduate Learning and Teaching Committee (CUGLAT). Under certain circumstances, approval is also needed from the Senatus Curriculum and Student Progression Committee.
