Academic Office remit
The College Academic Office works in a number of different ways to improve the learning and teaching experience within the College.
The College Academic Office supports the College, Deans and Associate Deans to continually improve the learning and teaching experience,
- supporting the development and implementation of the College Learning and Teaching Strategy
- managing quality assurance and enhancement processes
- supporting a range of College Committees (including International, Undergraduate Studies, Quality Assurance & Enhancement and Library)
- providing guidance on undergraduate curriculum and assessment policy
- advising Schools on administering individual student issues including progression, academic misconduct, degree transfers and individual subject combinations
- organising public lectures, including the Gifford and Munro Lectures and professorial inaugural lectures
