We seek to engage with local, national and international partners. Active research communities across the range of subject areas give us a breadth of knowledge and expertise on which we can advise and collaborate.

Academy of Government

The Academy of Government is committed to educating future leaders in the public and non-profit sectors; generating solutions to the most pressing public policy problems and producing high-quality research that impacts on policy and dependent public services locally, nationally and internationally.

Public Policy Network

The University’s Public Policy Network is a resource for individuals and organisations commissioning, developing, conducting and debating policy-relevant research. The webpage gives an overview of activities and some of the people and research centres involved in policy-relevant research in the University.

Expertise available

The Edinburgh Research Archive is a searchable database of research outputs from the University of Edinburgh, many of direct relevance to policy and practice. The websites for each of the College’s 11 schools give a flavour of the wide-ranging expertise available (see link below).
