The Exchange Fellowship Scheme is designed to promote collaboration between voluntary, public and private sector organisations and the College of Humanities and Social Science. The Scheme allows successful applicants access to University resources to work on a project of mutual interest.
The Scheme provides an exciting opportunity to explore, develop and refine an aspect of a Fellow’s work in collaboration with academic staff in the College. Projects may include but are not restricted to:
• Carrying out research to inform the work of your organisation
• Organising an event linking research and policy or practice
• Building a network of academics and practitioners in your field
• Developing a training course or programme
• Working on a creative piece of work
• Writing funding applications for larger knowledge exchange project

There is no funding linked to the Exchange Fellowship scheme; the Fellow remains employed and salaried by their employer and the University resources are provided in kind. There may be opportunities for applying for external funding for activities and the KE Office can advise on these.
Please see below for further information on the scheme including details of current Fellows. If you would like further advice and an application form, please contact Anne Sofie Laegran in the KE Office on email: a.s.laegran@ed.ac.uk or telephone: 0131 651 4203.
