How we can help
We can help colleagues in the College to maximise the real-world impact of their research and engage with business partners and society.
We do this through:
- advising on opportunities to engage effectively with policy makers, practitioners and businesses
- helping to organise events involving non-academic stakeholders and audiences
- advising on external funding opportunities and helping to develop bids for knowledge exchange activities
- identifying and assessing opportunities for commercialising research
- identifying and assessing opportunities for bringing income through consultancy and CPD
- providing “pump-prime” funding for innovative projects promoting knowledge exchange
We work closely with colleagues in ERI and other support units within the University and will do all we can to help. We also organise Learning Lunches and other events to raise awareness about opportunities for knowledge exchange.
