Schools should send on nomination forms for external examiners to the College Office where they will be considered by the Dean of Postgraduate Studies on behalf of the College Postgraduate Studies Committee.

The appointment start date for external examiners is always 1 November and appointments always end on 31 October. An external examiner can be appointed for up to five years.
