The College of Humanities and Social Science is the largest of the 3 Colleges within the University, reflecting the wide and dynamic nature of the 11 schools within the College.
There is a diverse range of postgraduate taught courses and research interests, and the College welcomes all high-calibre candidates, particularly international students who add significantly to the richness, diversity and cosmopolitan nature of study at Edinburgh.
Throughout the world, the excellence of our teaching and research is recognised, leading to collaborations with other key international universities, as well as with companies and organisations.
Our degree programmes are designed to be flexible and responsive to the needs of students and employers. Many of our programmes are offered on a part time and full time basis. You can also learn as a non-graduating student, allowing you to undertake focused study that does not lead to a degree.
