The leadership and management (Competency) framework has been designed to enhance leadership and management across the University's professional services staff (grades 6 - 10). It is a structured process to help staff develop their skills, and comprises 9 key competencies.

Levels of performance to help assess personal and career development needs.
General guidance on using the framework, plus specific guidance for using it when recruiting and selecting staff and conducting professional and development reviews.(P&DR)
Learning and development options are provided to support the competencies, at the end of each competency description or at HR staff development opportunities.
