This year the School of History, Classics and Archaeology welcomed students, staff, friends and colleagues to join us in an innovative series of events.
With our aims of 1) building a School-wide community, 2) encouraging students to develop their skills and experiences, and 3) engaging with the wider community, in mind many colleagues rose to the challenge in developing new and exciting ways of delivering an educational experience. Many colleagues chose to expand their activities beyond the confines of the University itself and to take participants on tours of sites and institutions within the city and around the country. Others led more intensive sessions of instruction and education, frequently touching on topics and experiences not usually encountered in a normal degree. All of those who participated in these events have learned something from the experience which will, hopefully, inspire new thinking and a new outlook. It will certainly help us plan for next years Innovative Learning Week.
More pictures will be added over the next couple of weeks.
