Overview
Our undergraduate Nursing programme is highly regarded around the world.
The teaching quality assessment (TQA) review has rated the quality of teaching for the nursing degree as consistently high in national polls. Several students have had their undergraduate work published.
The programme has excellent clinical placements in terms of range and quality within NHS Lothian in primary care, hospital care, the independent sector and the voluntary sector.

New undergraduate course survey
The University of Edinburgh is considering launching a new undergraduate course in the school of Health and Social Sciences. This programme is aimed at students looking for a broad based degree in Health and Social Care and would qualify them for a variety of professions within the health sector.
