For undergraduate and taught postgraduate students

Your Student Support Team

Student Advisers are your first point of contact for general advice and support.

Academic Cohort Leadership

Your Programme Director has oversight of your programme of studies.

Your Academic Cohort Lead (ACL) will offer you learning and networking opportunities.

Teaching teams

Course Organisers and teaching teams direct your learning experience and provide specialist subject-related guidance.

Programme and assessment administrators

The School's team of administrators can advise on timetabling, course enrolments, access to Learn and assessment submission processes.

For postgraduate research students

Your Supervisor is your main point of contact for academic advice and support.

The Postgraduate Research Office can advise on requirements for all concession applications including: interruptions to study, programme extensions and leave of absences.  They can also provide guidance on other PGR processes such as annual reviews and thesis submission.

For additional support, the Student Support Team is available to you.

There is an active PGR community within the School. Various events are arranged throughout the academic year such as subject-specific seminars, research workshops, as well as informal socials.

Peer Support

Student Representatives share your feedback with the Programme Director and teaching teams. There are also students on School Committees.

The Student Community Leader runs School events for students and staff.

Specialist services and resources are available to help you develop study skills, prepare for work, promote your health and wellbeing, and support you during challenging times.
