ICCHNR Conference 2013
We are delighted to announce the forthcoming conference Transforming Community Health: the nursing impact will take place in Edinburgh, Scotland on 13th and 14th March 2013.
The International Collaboration for Community Health Nursing Research (ICCHNR), the Queens Nursing Institute Scotland (QNIS) and Nursing Studies at the University of Edinburgh welcome you to the 5th International Conference on Community Health Nursing Research.
Aims
The aim of the conference is to provide evidence to promote strategies for the advancement of nursing for high quality care in the community setting.
The conference will provide an environment in which to share good practice, disseminate research and meet others working in similar fields offering opportunities to establish new collaborations and networks.

- Katarina Hjelm, Linnaeus University
- Sally Kendall, University of Hertfordshire

Booking
The number of conference places is limited, so you are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. The Early Bird Fee of £200.00 expires on 1st October 2012 and includes the following:
- Attendance at the conference over two days
- All tea/coffee breaks during the programme
- Lunch on Wednesday and Thursday
- Dinner on Wednesday at The Playfair Library

Abstracts
The call for abstracts is now open and closes on Friday 29th June 2012. Abstracts are welcome in broad areas of research, practice development and policy which have relevance to nursing in the community context.
The scientific committee is particularly keen to receive abstracts in the following areas:
- Older people
- Family and young people
- Long term conditions
- Education
- Public health and inequalities

The venue will be John McIntyre Conference Centre, which is an ideal conference venue, set in the heart of the beautiful city of Edinburgh, with accommodation on-site or within walking distance.
