Bursaries
We offer a limited number of bursaries for students on years 2 and 3 of the Master of Counselling (the Postgraduate Diploma), which you will be able to apply for following successful interview.
Additional costs
Additional costs: Students on the Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling are required to undertake a minimum of 40 hours of professional supervision in relation to their placement practice. While some agencies meet most or all of the costs of supervision, others are not in a position to do so, and students may have to pay for their own supervision.
Many counselling supervisors offer reduced rates for counselling students. Reduced rates are typically in the region of £30 to £40 per hour, while full supervision rates are in the region of £40 to £50 per hour.
