First Aid at Work Annual Refresher
This 3 and half hour course is aimed at staff who wish to refresh their skills and knowledge having previously attained the First Aid at Work qualification but not due for Requalification training within the next six months.
This course is entirely voluntary.
A maximum of 10 participants will be accepted on each course to allow maximum practice.
Course details
The course will mainly be practical in nature and will cover the following:
- assess the situation in an emergency
- CPR
- treatment of wounds
- treatment of shock
On completion of the course, each participant will be issued with a certificate of attendance. There will be no formal assessment.
Duration
This course lasts 3.5 hours.

Regularly throughout the year.
