The Occupational Health Unit is part of the Health and Safety Department providing a service which is independent, impartial and confidential, and the Unit's services are available to benefit employees and employer alike. Occupational Health staff will be pleased to discuss, in confidence, any concerns about your health and your workplace.

Please note, however, that the OHU should not be contacted for treatments or in place of your general practitioner (GP).

Health and Safety Department

The Health and Safety Department is part of the Corporate Services Group and provides expert guidance and advice on all aspects of occupational safety and health to the entire University community, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, the University Health and Safety Policy, and current best practice, across the wide range of activities undertaken by the University.

The Health and Safety Department consists of the Health and Safety Office and six supporting units:
