Advanced training on materials transport
The Biosafety arranges a specialist external trainer to provide a one-day course in the University on the transport of infectious substances.
The course is fully approved by the Civil Aviation Authority and provided by an IATA endorsed training school for Class 6.2 dangerous goods (infectious substances).
This course is principally for those who act as the local adviser on transport in each of the main biomedical research areas across the University.
Other University personnel involved in the transport of biological materials should attend the basic course on Transport of Biological Materials.
