We bring together a wide range of postgraduate degrees and courses from across the University of Edinburgh, crossing all boundaries in global health.
Study across disciplines
Global Health is not one single discipline, but multiple disciplines cutting across traditional institutional functions and boundaries.
Existing organisational structures within the University support world-class research work in distinct disciplines.
The Global Health Academy (GHA) extends these structures by facilitating new interdisciplinary approaches to deliver a greater impact on global health.
For example, public health and clinical physicians concerned with global health work closely with:

Innovative programmes
As a student in one of our programmes, you will directly benefit from this interdisciplinary network.
Our conventional MSc is for those students who are able to come to Edinburgh.
We also offer innovative distance learning programmes, and blended learning opportunities.
There is an emphasis on coherent bite-sized modules that meet specific in-country clinical and health systems requirements, and enable participants to remain in their place of work.
Short courses and programmes are also available to continue your professional development after you graduate.
